This section contains all the negatives that have been digitized so far, listed in a chronological order of realization and named following the progressive order of the binders stored at Villa I Tatti, where the bequest of the Norwegian author is kept.

Each entry indicates the work of art it refers to and, if the work belongs to those investigated in the 1994 volumes and/or an overall photo of it is available, this photo will be visible as first image, on the left of the preview. From the overall view in this section, you can open the sheet of each negative and also access the sheet of the work of art by clicking on its name, not on the name of the negative.

A specific entry for the works of art that were not present in the volumes published in 1994 has been created in the database to link the images. Their attributions are those present in the photographer’s personal archives and reflect the state of the studies at the date when the pictures were taken. In general, for these works of art, you will find the authors and the workshops indicated the same as in the museum where they are kept.
